One of our amazing Sahara Desert trips, departure from Marrakech; during this tour you will enjoy the real Morocco by the hands of its people.

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountain – Ait Ben Haddou – Sekoura – Roses Valley – Dades Valley:

Pick up at 8:30 in the morning from your riad or hotel in Marrakech and depart to Dades, across the high Atlas Montain. We will stop in Telouet Kasbah then we go to the village of Ait Ben Haddou; visit its famous Kasbah; and the fortified walled town inside. Later we arrive at Ouarzazat; Lunch and continue to Sekoura; where we will stop in another Kasbah named Amredyle. Then across Roses Valley to arrive in the evening to Dades Valley. Dinner and accommodation in Kasbah Chez Pierre.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Desert Sahara – Camel ride:

After breakfast we will continue the tour to desert Sahara, passing by Todra Gorges; where we will walk by the river and then to Erfoud; visit the fossils cooperatives, then continue to Merzouga (desert sahara) where you will be welcomed with a mint tea then your camels will take you from the hotel to the nomad camp in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and overnight in Berber nomad camp in the heart of the desert under the stars. After dinner you will have time to enjoy local music (drums) and watch the stars.

Day 3: Desert Sahara – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazat:

Get up early to see the beautiful sunrise behind the border between Morocco and Algeria, and return with camels to the hotel, where you take a shower and breakfast. We then continue our tour adventure towards Ouarzazat through Rissani; visit the traditional market (souk) and on to Alnif; stop for lunch, and from there to the Draa Valley; the biggest valley of palm groves in Morocco.  Arrive to Ouarzazat in the evening and transfer to your riad. Dinner and overnight in Riad Dar Chamaa.

Day 4: Ouarzazat – Atlas Mountain – Marrakech:

Visit Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazat and then visit Atlas Film Studios; where many famous films have been made such as Lawrence of Arabia, Ridley Scott’s Gladiator, Black Hawke Down, Oliver Stone’s Alexander the Great, Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven, and Sahara featuring  Penelope Cruz.  We leave the city on our return journey to Marrakech,  again across the Atlas Mountains, via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, we will stop also in some cooperatives of Argan Oil. Arrive in the evening to Marrakech and transfer to your riad or hotel.
