The Tea Route consists of three steps:
Step 1 – Le Domaine des Aubineau – This Colonial House was built in 1872 and is still going strong, following various renovations completed by different inheritors of the house. There is an in-house restaurant where creole dishes are served by the resident chef.
Step 2 – Le Bois Chéri Tea Estate Restaurant – here you will have the pleasure of visiting and touring a fully operational tea factory in the village of Bois Cheri. Later you are invited to dine at a magnificent lake view restaurant where you may taste various teas produced on the estate.
Step 3 – Le Domaine de St Aubin – A beautiful House built in 1819, transformed into a stunning restaurant. You will find activities such as a Petting Farm, the St Aubin Guest House, Vanilla House, home-made Rum Distillery ‘St Aubin 1819’, spice garden etc.
