We stayed at this barn for 2 weeks in autumn of 2020. It was the most perfect base for our holiday positioned in the middle of Extremadura, a western Spanish region bordering Portugal, with easy access to the most beautiful places of natural beauty and also fascinating historical towns and villages.

The barn itself is so atmospheric and comfortable we happily enjoyed the peace and beautiful scenery on the days we didn’t venture further afield. The swimming pool is in a secluded part of the finca with great views. The barn has its own 1 hectare private grounds within the grounds of Finca al-manzil, on the slopes of the Sierra de Montanchez.
