This was my favourite part of the trip to Dublin, the one hour tour around the old jail.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was very interesting hearing about the previous inmates. The main jail is recognisable from various big films!

One of Dublin’s main tourist attractions Kilmainham Gaol is also within walking distance of another popular attraction, the Guinness Factory! So you can see both in a day trip.
