Tim’s Hideout Cafe is the latest beach side homestay in Miri. Nestled on 32 acres of beach front land, 4 chalets and a house welcome visitors for short and long stays, or just for an evening of wining and dining.
Guests can look over the beautiful blue sea the whole day long, or enjoy warm shelter with beers on a rainy day, whilst the owners go about making guests comfortable and their stay enjoyable.
The sunset was brilliant and the wind very powerful on the day we were there, we could not tear ourselves away from the sun setting but serious work was waiting for us in the resort city of Miri.
Food is available, both western and local at very reasonable prices from salmon steak to local nasi goreng (fried rice). Guests dine on the raised patio (there are only 5 tables available at the moment).
A walk on the beach which stretches for miles and miles would be very pleasant after your meal. It is truly a hideout, with very few people around. And there is no Wifi!
